City of Colorado Springs Sustainability
INOV 3010, Innovation Teams Research and Execute, is the second of the three classes within the team’s series. This course prefixes the final course, where the group’s leadership is the main focus. However, we focus more on helping the newer 2010s get comfortable and be a support line. The project we focused on during this semester was working with the city of Colorado Springs’s sustainability department. Working with this client, we focused on waste management and various options to create long-lasting and sustainable solutions. Ultimately, our work was highly successful, granting an audience to the mayor of Colorado Springs and allowing our group to represent the bachelors of innovation within the city. Much like my first course, I was a vital group member here, taking what I had learned from the first project and investing it here. I also researched multiple other cities and waste management options that led us to a solution.
